Icici Bank

Our Icici Bank branch is located at 6/32 Subhash Nagar. It is a fairly standard building for this part of the city. We show up every morning and unlock the doors to start the day. The space is not very huge, but we have enough room for the counters and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. Subhash Nagar is a place where everyone kind of knows each other, so we see the same faces quite often. We don't go for anything too flashy here. The floors are plain and the lighting is just basic tube lights. We spend our time counting cash, checking papers, and talking to the people who walk in from the neighborhood. It can get pretty loud when several people are talking at once, especially on the days when everyone seems to need something at the same time. We don’t have any of those fancy modern lounges you see in the big city center branches. We just have our desks and our computers. It is a very practical way to work. When the day is over, we lock up the 6/32 address and head home like everyone else. It’s a steady job in a steady part of town, and we just keep it moving one day at a time without any extra polish.
