You can find IBR Telecom over in Mohan Garden, at number 9. It’s a local business that’s been part of the neighborhood for a while. We mainly handle things related to mobile phones and communication services. The shop isn’t fancy at all, just a functional space with some counters and shelves for the products. Mohan Garden is a residential area, so we get a lot of families and local workers coming in. We don’t use any polished language or try to sell ourselves with big promises. It’s just us doing the daily tasks of checking stock and helping customers with their mobile needs. The street outside is usually busy with rickshaws and people going about their business. We have a lot of different chargers, earphones, and mobile covers packed into the small space we have. Most of our day is spent behind the counter, talking to people and making sure the inventory is correct. We don’t have a huge team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from cleaning the glass to handling the accounts. The lights inside are a bit bright and the floor is just plain tiles that we sweep every morning. It’s a straightforward operation where we focus on the work at hand and don't worry about being corporate. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but our shop has stayed pretty much the same, just a reliable place for the people nearby to get their phones sorted out.
