Our small office is situated at 206 RPS Colony, near Gate 2 in New Delhi. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads of the city. We work out of this location doing various technical tasks and keeping track of different projects. The building is part of a residential colony, so it feels more relaxed than a giant corporate park. We have a few rows of desks with computers and a lot of cables running along the floor. Most of the day is spent on the keyboards, looking at data or responding to messages. We use the back room for storing extra equipment and some old monitors that we do not use anymore. There is a small window that looks out onto the colony street, and we can see people going about their daily lives. We take turns making tea for everyone in the afternoon. It is a simple way to work, and we do not have a lot of meetings or anything too formal. The gate nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We have been here long enough that the security guards know us all. It is just a functional space where we come every morning to get our work done without any fuss. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief during the Delhi summers. We just keep to ourselves and get through the tasks.
