Our IBM office is over in Sector-16, Rohini, at H.No 25-26/G-3. It is a quiet residential part of New Delhi-110085. We are not in a big glass tower; it is a more modest setup here. We handle various technical and service tasks throughout the day. The building is a standard house that has been converted into a workspace. We have our computers set up in the main rooms. The commute to Rohini can be long for some of us, but the area itself is decent. We have a few shops nearby where we go for lunch or quick snacks. The atmosphere inside is pretty relaxed. We do not wear suits or anything like that. We just focus on the tickets and the technical issues that come our way. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we have to reset all the machines. It is a bit of a headache but we are used to it. We do not have a big reception desk. If you walk in, you will probably just see us working at our desks. We try to keep things moving along. There is a lot of data to process and emails to answer. We are not trying to change the world, just doing our bit in the IT sector from this corner of Delhi. It is a steady routine of work and small talk among the staff.
