Our office is located at F-19Ff in Jeevan Park, which is right across from Janakpuri in New Delhi. The pin code for this area is 110059. Working at Ibm in this specific location feels very different from what you might expect of a big name. It’s a modest space on the first floor of a building that fits right into the local residential street. Finding a parking spot can be a bit of a challenge some days, so many of us prefer to use the metro or take a rickshaw from the main gate. The office has a few separate sections divided by thin partitions that don't really block out much sound. You can usually hear the hum of the computers and the occasional sound of a motorcycle revving outside. We have a small balcony where a few of us go to get some fresh air during the breaks. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of monitors and a few filing cabinets tucked into the corners. We don't have a big reception desk or a sign in the lobby. It’s just a place where we come to get our work done and then go home to our families. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s not something we worry about much. It is a functional and straightforward environment for the team here in Jeevan Park to stay focused on the tasks at hand and get through the week.
