Our place is on the second floor at 300 South Ex 2. It's a busy part of New Delhi, so there's always noise coming up from the street below. You have to walk up the stairs since the lift is sometimes temperamental. The office layout is pretty standard. We have desks crammed in where they fit. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front windows quite hard. We end up pulling the blinds down most of the time. Working in South Ex means we have plenty of spots to grab a quick bite during lunch, though we mostly just bring tiffin from home. The neighborhood has changed a lot over the years, but our building stays pretty much the same. It's got that old Delhi commercial feel to it. Not everything is perfectly painted or brand new. We deal with a lot of files and computer work throughout the day. People are always coming and going. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It gets loud when that happens. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people doing our jobs in a crowded city. The address is 300, and being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the shoppers outside. It’s a lot of typing and talking on the phone for most of us here. We keep a few plants by the window but they don't always do well with the city air.
