Ibm Daksh

Our office is on the 3rd floor of House No 1328 in Dr. Mukherjee Nagar. If you have ever walked through this part of Delhi, you know it is absolutely packed with students and people carrying stacks of books for their exams. Being up on the third floor means we get a bit of a break from the noise on the street, but you can still hear the buzz of the neighborhood through the windows. At IBM Daksh, we mostly sit at our workstations and handle whatever tasks are assigned for the shift. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so it is always a squeeze when people are coming and going at the same time. We have a small break area where we keep the kettle, and that is usually where everyone gathers to talk about their weekend. The office layout is pretty simple with rows of computers and headsets everywhere. It is not the most glamorous place, but it works for what we do. We spend hours looking at data or talking to people on the line. The lighting is that typical office white, and sometimes the printer jams right when you need it most. We have a view of the rooftops of Mukherjee Nagar, which is actually kind of nice during sunset. We are just a team of people trying to get through the queue of work before the day ends.
