I Travel

I Travel is a small office located at 14/132 in Subhash Nagar. It’s just a simple room where we handle travel bookings for people in the neighborhood. Subhash Nagar is a busy place with a lot of houses and local shops, so there is always something going on outside our door. We mostly help people with their train tickets, bus bookings, or sometimes planning a trip to go visit family in another city. We don't have any big flashy posters or expensive furniture. It’s just a couple of chairs, a desk, and a computer that has seen better days. People often just drop in while they are out getting groceries to ask about prices or to see if a certain train has seats left. We know a lot of the families around here because they’ve been coming to us for years. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. It's just us here, answering the phone and trying to make sense of the booking systems. Sometimes the systems are down and we just have to wait it out and try again later. It's a very local way of doing things. We don't try to make things sound more complicated than they are. If someone wants to go somewhere, we see if we can get them a ticket and that’s about it. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work that we enjoy. The fan overhead makes a bit of noise in the summer but we are used to it.
