If you're looking for the Hyderabadi Biryani House, we are right here at 1/208 Dakshin Puri, near the Ambedke area. It’s a small shop, nothing like those big fancy restaurants in the malls. We spend most of our time in the kitchen. It gets hot, especially when the big pots of rice and meat are steaming. There’s always a smell of spices in the air that you can catch from down the street. We don't have a lot of tables, so it gets crowded during the lunch and dinner rush. People are often standing around outside waiting for their parcels to be ready. The walls have a few posters, and the floor is a bit worn from all the foot traffic over the years. We don't use any special advertising. People just find us because they live nearby or heard about the food from a friend. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. Sometimes the kids are around, and things can get a bit chaotic in the afternoons. We try to keep the biryani consistent, but every day is a little different depending on what we get from the market. Dakshin Puri is a lively place, and we fit right in with the noise and the crowd. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just cook the food, pack it up, and talk to the customers who have been coming here for a long time. It’s just a simple biryani house.
