We are way up on the top floor of J-Ext 159 in Laxmi Nagar. If you’ve ever been to Laxmi Nagar, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in Delhi. Being on the top floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise of the market below, but you can still feel the energy of the street. Hyatt Restaurant isn't a big chain place with a million rules. It’s more of a local spot where we try to serve good food to the people who live and work around here. The kitchen is always hot, and there's usually a lot of shouting back and forth between the staff, but it’s all in good spirits. We don't have a fancy menu with words you can't pronounce. It’s just straightforward dishes that we know how to make well. The chairs might not all match, and the floor has some scratches, but it’s a place where you can sit down and feel comfortable. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they live nearby or they heard about us from a friend. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the plates are full for every customer who walks in. It’s a tough business, but seeing people finish their meals makes it worth the effort every day. Climbing those stairs is worth it for the food we serve at the end.
