We’re connected to the area around the Padma Bhandari Working Women's Hostel in Sector 4, R.K. Puram. It’s an interesting part of New Delhi to be in. Our work involves a lot of moving parts, keeping things running smoothly for everyone who comes through. It’s a big name, but the daily work is just about being on top of things. The staff here spends a lot of time making sure rooms are ready and everything is where it should be. R.K. Puram is a busy spot, and there’s always people walking by. We see a lot of different people every day. Some stay for a while, and others are just passing through for a meeting. It’s not always glamorous behind the scenes; there’s a lot of cleaning and organizing that no one sees. We’ve got a team that works shifts at all hours of the night. Sometimes the lobby is packed, and other times it's dead silent. We just try to keep a calm head when things get hectic. The hostel nearby means there’s a lot of community activity around here too. It’s just a part of the city where work never really stops. We don’t really use big words for what we do. It’s just hospitality and making sure the day-to-day operations don’t fall apart in the middle of the rush. There’s always a guest with a request or a hallway that needs attention, but we handle it as it comes without making a fuss.
