So, we are based out here in Haldwani. It is a bit different from what you might expect when you first hear the name, but this is exactly where we operate. It is a really beautiful part of the country, especially when the weather stays clear and you can see the hills sitting in the distance. We started this place because we wanted to have something local that felt right for the area. It is not a massive skyscraper or some luxury resort you see in magazines. It is a more modest, practical setup that fits in with the rest of the town. We spend a lot of our time making sure everything is tidy and ready for whoever happens to come by. People in Haldwani are generally very friendly, and we try to act the same way toward everyone. Sometimes the goats from the nearby farm wander a bit too close to our entrance, which usually makes for a funny sight for the guests. We do not have a huge team here, just a few of us who handle everything from the front desk to the basic cleaning. It is a lot of work for a small group, but we like being our own bosses. We are not part of some giant international chain that does not care about the small details. Here, we know people’s names and how they like their tea. It is just straightforward.
