House Maker

We are House Maker, and we are currently operating out of 18, Raman Hostel. It’s a bit of a unique spot because we are basically in a hostel building in the Delhi-Haryana area, postcode 110054. It’s not your typical office with a lobby and a sign. We started this because we saw a need for people making houses and fixing things up. Being in Raman Hostel means we are often around students and young people, which keeps the energy high. We have our tools and our plans scattered around the room. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on fancy marketing because we’re just starting out and prefer to keep things simple. Most of our work is done on-site, but this is where we come back to do the planning. We use the small space we have to organize the materials and the schedules. Sometimes the hostel life gets a bit loud, but we’ve learned to work through it. It’s a practical way to run things for now. We are just a group of people trying to build something real from a small room. The 110054 area is where we handle all our calls and meetings. It’s humble, but it serves us well. Living and working in the same building means we are always on the clock, which is just how it goes.
