Hotspot

Hotspot is our shop and we are right in the middle of Sarojini Nagar Main Market at number 87. If you’ve ever been to Sarojini you know how loud and crowded it gets with all the shoppers looking for clothes. We are right there in the mix. We sell mobile phones and all the little gadgets that go with them. Most days it is a struggle just to get through the crowd to the shop door in the afternoons. Inside it is a bit calmer though we still get plenty of foot traffic. People come in to check out the latest models or to get a new pair of earphones after they’ve been walking around the market all day. We have been at this spot for a long time. The shop isn't huge but we pack a lot of stuff onto the shelves. We don't have any scripted sales pitches or anything corporate like that. We just show people what we have in the cases and let them decide for themselves. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer even with the fans going but that is just part of being in an old market like this. We stay open until late because the market stays busy until the sun goes down. It's a lot of work keeping up with the inventory and making sure we have what people want. We just focus on the customers who come through the door and try to keep things moving.
