Hotelradisson

Our place is located in Mahipalpur, which is very close to the airport in New Delhi. The address is T.G.K.F, right in the thick of all the other hotels and transit houses. It is a very busy area with cars and taxis honking at all hours. We have a building that is several floors high. Inside, the lobby is quite small with just a couple of chairs for people to wait. We spend most of our time checking people in and out. It’s a lot of work keeping the rooms ready. The carpets are a bit worn in the hallways because so many people walk through with heavy suitcases. We have a small staff of about six or seven people who do everything from cleaning to answering the phones. Sometimes the water pressure isn't great, but we try to fix it as soon as someone tells us. We don't have a big restaurant, just a small kitchen where we make basic breakfast like toast and eggs. The windows don't block out all the noise from the street, but that’s just how Mahipalpur is. Most of our guests are just staying for a night before a flight. We keep a diary at the front desk to note down any issues that come up. It’s a very basic operation we run here. We just try to keep things moving so everyone can get to their next destination on time. It is hard work but we are used to it.
