Hotel Vikram

This place is located at H.No-K-52 in Kotla Mubarakpur. It’s right on Punjabi Lane, which can get pretty narrow and busy during the day. The building belongs to the family of Mr. Brijesh Chander Srivastava. It’s not your typical big hotel building you might see on a main highway. It feels more like a part of the local street. We have a few rooms and a small area where we sit. The building has been here for a long time and it shows its age in a comfortable way. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure everything is tidy for anyone coming through. There are always people walking by outside on the lane. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, kids playing or people talking. It’s a very grounded sort of place. We don't use fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of things are still written down in ledgers. The lighting is a bit dim in the hallways, but we like it that way. It stays cooler when the sun is out. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how everything works. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. It’s just a simple operation in a busy part of New Delhi. We do our best to keep things running smoothly without needing any flashy signs or big advertisements. We just take each day as it comes and handle the work.
