Hotel The Imperial is tucked away at K404 on Street Number 10. We are on the first floor in Mahipalpur, which is a very busy part of New Delhi because of the airport nearby. Our place is not like those big fancy hotels you see on the main roads. We are a smaller operation and we keep things pretty simple. The entrance is just a regular door and you have to come up to the first floor to find us. We spend a lot of time checking people in who have just landed or are waiting for a flight. It is a lot of laundry and cleaning rooms all day long. The staff is small, just a few of us who take turns staying overnight. We do not have a big restaurant or a pool. We just have rooms for people who need a place to stay for a night or two. Sometimes the street outside gets very crowded with cars and people, but that is just Mahipalpur for you. We have been at this address for some time now and we know the neighborhood well. It is an honest living and we try to be helpful when guests ask for directions. We do not use any fancy words to describe what we do here. We just provide a room and try to make sure the fan works and the water is running. It is just a basic place for travelers who are passing through the city.
