Hotel -The Imperial

You can find us at H-516, Kali Bari Marg, right in the Diz Area of New Delhi. We’ve been operating here for a while now, tucked away in a spot that is actually pretty central once you know your way around. The hotel isn't one of those massive glass buildings you see in the movies. It’s more of a practical place where people stay when they have business in the city or are just passing through. We have a handful of rooms and a small staff that keeps everything running. Most of our day is spent checking people in, making sure the linens are fresh, and answering questions about how to get to the metro. It gets quite loud outside with the Delhi traffic, but inside we try to keep things as quiet as we can. We don't have fancy uniforms or a five-star dining room, just a clean place to sleep and some decent tea in the morning. Sometimes a pipe leaks or a guest forgets their key, and we just deal with it like anyone else would. It’s a lot of hard work keeping a building this age in good shape, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the most famous hotel in the world, just a reliable spot for people who need a bed in the 110001 area. We’re just regular folks doing our best to keep the lights on and the guests comfortable enough while they are here in the capital. It's a busy life but it's okay.
