Hotel Taj

You can find us at 581 in the Housing Board Colony, which is in the Baldev Nagar area of Ambala City. We are in Sec-19, which is a fairly quiet residential part of town. Our hotel isn't one of those massive buildings you see in the movies. It’s a more modest place situated right in the colony. We have rooms for people who are passing through Ambala or staying for a few days on business. The furniture is simple and we try to keep everything as clean as we can. Being in a Housing Board Colony means it feels very local and you can see people going about their normal lives right outside. We handle the check-ins and the cleaning ourselves. It is a small operation and we don't have a huge team of people. We have a small kitchen where we can make some basic food if a guest is hungry. The streets around here are easy to navigate and it’s not as noisy as the main bus stand area. People seem to appreciate that it’s a bit calmer. We’ve been running things here for a while now and we have a routine that works for us. It’s just a plain, honest place to stay when you are in Ambala and need a bed for the night. We keep a few extra blankets in the cupboard for when the winter nights in Ambala get a bit chilly.
