Hotel Taj Palace,Delhi

This hotel is located at E8-A/4 in Krishan Nagar which is a part of Delhi-51 that stays quite active until late at night. We have been here at Hotel Taj Palace for a while now and the daily routine usually starts very early with the sound of the morning traffic and people heading to work. The building itself has a few floors and we spend most of our time going up and down the stairs to check on the rooms or see if the laundry has arrived. It is not a huge place with hundreds of staff, just a small group of us who handle the front desk and the cleaning. The lobby has a few chairs where guests sit while they wait for their keys and there is usually a newspaper laying around on the table. We get a mix of people staying here, some for work and some just passing through the city. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb needs changing, so there is always a bit of maintenance to do. We don't have a fancy restaurant inside, just simple rooms for people to sleep in. It can be a bit noisy because of the location in Krishan Nagar but that is just how Delhi is. We just focus on getting the check-ins done and making sure there are enough clean towels for everyone who arrives in the evening.
