Hotel Taj Palace , New Delhi

Our place is located in the DDA Flats over at Mayapuri, specifically at Ja-47/B. It’s not a huge building, just a regular setup in the residential part of New Delhi. We’ve been running things here for a bit, mostly just keeping the rooms clean and making sure people have a place to stay when they come into the city for work or family visits. Mayapuri is a busy industrial area, so there’s always something going on nearby. It can get a bit loud during the day with all the trucks and workshops, but inside it’s usually okay. We handle most of the work ourselves, from checking people in to making sure the fans and lights are working right. It’s not a fancy five-star place even though the name might sound like one, we’re just a local spot for travelers who need a bed. We have some regulars who stay with us every time they are in Delhi because they know we are right here near the main roads. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we have to repaint a wall, but we stay on top of it as much as we can. It’s a simple living for us, just meeting new people and helping them get settled for the night. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth from folks who stayed here before. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We just try to provide a roof over people's heads.
