Hotel Stuttee, Karol Bagh

We are located over in Harinagar, even though everyone knows us for the Karol Bagh connection. The address is C/94/A and it is usually pretty busy around here. Being in a place like New Delhi means there is never really a quiet moment. We spend most of our time checking people in and making sure the rooms are ready. Sometimes the laundry is late or a lightbulb goes out right when someone arrives. It is just the way things go when you are running a spot like this. We have a small staff and we all know each other well. Some of us have been here for years. The traffic outside can get loud, especially during rush hour, but you get used to it after a week. We see all kinds of people coming through. Some are here for work and others are just passing through the city. We do not have a big corporate office or anything. It is just a desk, some keys, and a lot of paperwork. Mornings are the craziest time because everyone wants breakfast and their bill at the same time. By the afternoon, it settles down a bit and we can finally sit down for a minute. It is not a glamorous life, but it keeps us on our toes. We just try to make sure everything works like it should and that the water stays hot for the morning showers. That is our daily life here.
