Over in Udaipur, we are set up at House No 612 in Sector-11, Hiranmagri. This is a residential part of the city, away from the lakes and the tourist spots that most people think of when they hear the name Udaipur. Hotel Shangri-La is what we are called, but here in Hiranmagri, it is just our daily workplace. The house is a typical two-story structure with a small gate. The sun in Rajasthan can be really something, so we spend a lot of the day with the curtains drawn to keep the heat out. Inside, it is just a normal setup with some computers and a few files. We do not have any fancy mission statements or marketing brochures. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they have the specific address. Sector-11 is a quiet area for the most part, though you hear the occasional cow bell or a motorbike passing by. We take our breaks in the small courtyard when the weather allows for it. It is a very honest way to work, without the pressure of being in a big city center. We know the postman and the local shopkeepers. It is just about getting the work done and maintaining the property. We have been here for a while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. It is a simple life in a quiet corner of the city, and that suits us just fine. This is how we live and work in Udaipur.
