Hotel Sagar Plaza,Pune

Our hotel is located right in the Camp area of Pune, which is a place that’s always buzzing with energy. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the building has become a familiar sight for people in the neighborhood. It’s not one of those new, glass-and-steel hotels you see in the outskirts. We have a more traditional feel to the place. The lobby has heavy wooden furniture and the floors are polished stone. We spend our days greeting guests, many of whom have been staying with us for years. They like being near the markets and the old bakeries that Camp is famous for. The staff here is like a small family; some of the guys have worked in the kitchen or at the front desk for over a decade. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and the local markets, but inside we try to keep things calm. We spend a lot of time checking the rooms and making sure the kitchen is stocked for the morning rush. The elevators are a bit old and they make a clanking sound, but they always get you where you need to go. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished corporate handbook. We just know how to run the place because we’ve done it for so long. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the festival seasons when the whole city is crowded. We just keep the doors open and the rooms ready for whoever walks in.
