Hotel Ritz Plaza-Amritsar,Operating From New Delhi Office

We run things for the Hotel Ritz Plaza in Amritsar, but we do it from this office in Gurgaon. You can find us at 273/3 Prem Nagar, right across from the Haryana Roadways Workshop. It’s a busy spot with all the buses moving around, but it makes it easy to give directions. We handle the bookings, the marketing, and the general management tasks for the hotel from here. It's a lot of phone calls back and forth to Amritsar. The office is pretty basic. We’ve got desks and some filing cabinets and not much else. It’s a practical space where we can concentrate on the work. We don't have a fancy showroom here because the real hotel is far away. We just make sure the rooms are booked and the guests have what they need when they arrive up north. Gurgaon is a good base for us because it’s where a lot of the business happens. We’ve been in this Prem Nagar spot for some time now. Some days are really hectic with groups booking in, and other days we’re just catching up on paperwork. We don't use any fancy talk, we just tell people what’s available and help them out. It’s a straightforward job and we just try to keep things organized for everyone involved. It gets loud with the workshop across the road, but we just shut the windows and keep on working.
