Hotel Metropolitan

Our hotel is tucked away on Sushila Street, which is right behind Asaf Ali Road in the Delhi-6 area. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and lively it is. We are at number 3091. It’s an old building, like most things around here, but it has a lot of character. We don't have the big fancy lobbies you find in the new parts of Delhi. Our place is more about being right in the middle of everything. The streets are narrow and there’s always the smell of street food nearby. We have rooms for travelers who want to be close to the markets and the old city. It gets very noisy outside during the day with all the rickshaws and vendors, but that’s just Delhi-6. We try to keep the rooms clean and comfortable. Sometimes the paint is peeling a little, but we do our best to patch it up. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you’ll see us around most of the time. We don’t use any big booking agencies, mostly just people who know the area or find us while walking around. It’s a practical place to stay if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle. We’ve been here for years and haven't changed much. It is honest work and we like meeting the different people who pass through our doors every week.
