Hotel Metro City

We run this small hotel on the first floor of house number four in South Ganesh Nagar. It is right here in New Delhi-92. The area is mostly houses and small shops, so it feels quite local. We have a few rooms that we look after. It is a family business, so we do most of the work ourselves. I am usually the one you see at the small desk when you walk in. We do not have a big staff or a fancy uniform. We just wear our regular clothes and get on with the day. The rooms are kept clean and we make sure there is water and clean sheets for everyone who stays. It is a simple place for people who need a spot to sleep while they are in the city for work or visiting relatives. The stairs are a bit narrow, so we often help guests carry their bags up. We do not have a restaurant on the premises, but we can tell you where the best local food is just a short walk away. We have been here for several years and have seen a lot of people come and go. It is interesting to meet different folks from all over. We just try to be helpful and keep the place running quietly. It is not a big corporate hotel, just a honest spot where we work hard every day to keep things in order. Most of our guests find us through friends or by walking past the front door.
