We've been at H.No.619 on Ratia Marg for a while now. Sangam Vihar is a busy place, and our spot is right in the middle of it all on J-1St/17. It’s a bit crowded around here, but that’s just New Delhi for you. We run the Hotel Maurya here. It’s a simple building. Nothing fancy. My cousin and I handle most of the daily work, from checking people in to making sure the rooms are okay. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but inside we try to keep things quiet. People come here when they need a place to stay that doesn't cost too much. We see a lot of travelers passing through for work or visiting family nearby. The street can be a bit tricky to find if you’re not from around here, but once you see the sign, you’re good. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. Just a counter and some chairs. We fix things ourselves when they break. Last week the tap in room four was leaking, so I spent the afternoon getting it sorted. It's just a regular local business. We keep the keys on a board behind the desk. If you're looking for us, we're on the main Ratia Marg stretch. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. More shops opening up, more cars on the road. But we're still here doing the same thing every day. It's basic, but it works for the people who stop by.
