Hotel Madhuvan, Mathura

Even though the name is Hotel Madhuvan, Mathura, our office is actually here in Janak Puri, New Delhi. We are on the ground floor of C6B/22. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time. We handle the bookings and the administrative side of things for the hotel from this location. Janak Puri is a big area, but our little spot is easy to find once you get into the right block. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages about rooms and dates. It is mostly just standard office work, nothing too exciting. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets where we keep everything organized. Sometimes people stop by to ask about directions or to pay for their stays in person. We don’t have a big lobby here since it’s just the back-end office. It’s a practical space for us to keep the hotel running smoothly. We’ve been in this part of Delhi for a while now. The ground floor makes it easy to move things in and out. We try to keep everything straightforward. No need for complicated systems when a good ledger and some patience do the job. We just focus on making sure the guests have their spots reserved and the staff in Mathura know who is coming. It’s a daily rhythm we’ve gotten used to over the years.
