You will find us right in the heart of Old Delhi at 154, Katra Mashru, which is in Dariba Kalan near Chandni Chowk. This is one of the oldest and busiest parts of the city, so getting here can be an adventure on its own. Our building is tucked away among all the silver and jewelry shops that make this street famous. It’s an old structure with high ceilings and some narrow hallways that have been here for a very long time. We aren't like the modern hotels with big glass elevators and marble lobbies. Here, it’s more about being right in the middle of the history and the daily market life. The sounds of the rickshaws and the people shouting in the street come right through the windows during the day. We have a small staff who have mostly been here for years and they know every corner of this building. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction and the age of the neighborhood, but we do what we can to keep things tidy. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on providing a place to stay for people who want to be right in the thick of things in Chandni Chowk. It’s a very simple and honest way of doing business in a part of Delhi that never seems to stop moving. You just have to follow the narrow lanes until you see our number.
