Hotel "Le Meridien" New Delhi

We are over at A447, Krishna Gali in Kotla Mubarakpur. If you are looking for us, we are right near Hind Tent House, which is a pretty well-known landmark in this part of New Delhi. This is the office for the Hotel "Le Meridien" New Delhi, though it’s not the actual hotel building itself. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here. The lane is quite thin and you have to be careful walking down it when the rickshaws are passing by. Our office is just a regular room with some old cupboards and a few desks. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We deal with a lot of coordination and paperwork that people staying at the hotel never really see. It is quite a contrast from the fancy rooms at the main hotel site. Here, it’s just us in our regular clothes trying to get through the filing and the phone calls. We know the people at the tent house next door and sometimes we chat with them during the breaks. It is a very lived-in area and the office reflects that. We don’t have any polished lobby or fancy uniforms. It is just a place where the work gets done so that everything else can run smoothly. We try to stay on top of things, but some days are busier than others and the piles of paper just grow.
