Hotel Jaipur Palace, Central Reservation Office, Delhi.

We've been working out of this first-floor spot in Gulmohar Park for a while now. It’s mostly desks and phones here because this is where the Hotel Jaipur Palace central reservation stuff happens. People call us up to sort out their rooms before they head over to Rajasthan. It gets pretty busy, especially when the holiday season kicks in. We keep a small crew in this New Delhi office to make sure things don't get messy with the bookings. It’s a plain office at C-34, nothing fancy to look at. Sometimes the internet acts up or the phones ring all at the same time, but we manage to get through the day somehow. We aren't the hotel itself—you have to travel for that—but we are the ones who handle the paperwork and the computer side of things from here. It's just a regular workspace where we spend our mornings and evenings talking to guests on the phone. Most of us have been here long enough that we know the system inside out. It’s a bit of a trek for some to find us in Gulmohar Park if they come in person, but usually, it’s just us and the computers. We try to keep things organized so when people actually show up at the palace, their names are on the list like they should be. It’s honest work, just keeping the gears turning behind the scenes from our little corner of Delhi. It's nothing special, just our daily job.
