Hotel Intercontinental

Our office is in Flat No 9A, on the 2nd Floor of B-19 in Kailash Colony. It’s a residential-feeling area in New Delhi, so it’s not as loud as the commercial hubs. We go by the name Hotel Intercontinental, but we’re just working out of this flat for now. The stairs to the second floor are a bit narrow, so we don't like moving heavy furniture in or out. It’s a lived-in space with some desks and a few old filing cabinets. Being in Kailash Colony is nice because there are some decent trees around and it feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We spend our days dealing with various things that come up. It's not a high-rise building with a doorman. We just have our key and we come in every morning. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in Delhi. We have a small kettle for making coffee and we mostly just focus on the computer screens. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. It’s just a workspace in a flat where we get things done. Most people who come by are a bit surprised it’s just a regular apartment, but it works for us. We keep the windows open when it’s not too dusty outside. It's just a regular day-to-day operation here at B-19. We like the quiet pace of the colony when the sun starts to go down.
