This is our small spot on the 3rd floor, Room No-15, over at D-128 Mohammadpur. It’s a bit different from what people might expect when they hear the name, but this is where we do our daily work. We are tucked away in a busy part of New-Delhi, far from the main roads. The stairs can be a bit of a climb since we are up on the third floor. We share the space with a few other offices, and the hallway is usually filled with the sound of people talking or moving boxes. It’s a practical setup, nothing like a luxury lounge. We have our desks, some old chairs, and a window that looks out over the rooftops of Mohammadpur. Sundar Lal’s place is easy to find once you know the street, but it can be confusing for newcomers. We spend our time managing records and making sure the administrative side of things is handled. It’s quiet up here compared to the street below. We don’t have a fancy sign outside, just our room number on the door. It’s where we come every morning to get through the files and answer the phone. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down. It’s just a regular office where we do what needs to be done without any unnecessary extras. It's nothing fancy, just a room where the work gets sorted out day by day.
