Hotel Galaxy

Hotel Galaxy is located at B-5/97 in Yamuna Vihar, which is a fairly quiet residential part of Delhi 53. We’re not one of those massive hotels you see in the middle of the city; we’re more of a local spot tucked into the neighborhood blocks. The building is a standard size for this area, and we’ve tried to make it as comfortable as possible for whoever stays with us. We have a small team here, and most of us live just a short walk away. The streets around Yamuna Vihar are good for a morning walk, and it feels a bit more relaxed than the busier parts of Delhi. We spend our mornings checking people out and getting the rooms cleaned up for the next arrivals. It’s a lot of laundry and making sure the water is running fine. Sometimes the plumbing gives us a little trouble, but we have a guy who comes by to fix it pretty quickly. We don't have a big fancy restaurant, just a simple setup for breakfast and some tea. It’s a very basic, honest way to run a business. We like talking to the guests and hearing where they’re coming from. Most people stay here because it’s a bit more peaceful than being right next to the railway station or the main markets. It is just a simple place for travelers to get some rest.
