Hotel Fort Rajwada Jaisalmer

It might seem a bit strange to have an office for a Jaisalmer hotel tucked away in Najafgarh, but that is where we are. Our address is Rz-48/C in Baba Haridass Nagar. It is a bit of a trek from the main city center of Delhi, but it works for us. We handle a lot of the backend stuff and bookings for Hotel Fort Rajwada here. It is a small space, nothing like the grand stone walls of the actual hotel in Rajasthan. We have some photos of the fort on the walls to remind us what we are selling, but the view out our window is just the busy street life of Najafgarh. There is a lot of dust and noise from the local traffic. We spend the day on the phone or responding to emails, coordinating with the team back in Jaisalmer. It is a lot of logistics. Sometimes we have to explain to people that no, the hotel is not actually in Delhi, this is just where the office sits. We have got a couple of old desks and a computer that has seen better days, but we get the job done. It is a practical setup for handling the Delhi side of things. We do not have a fancy lobby or a doorman here. It is just us in a regular building, making sure the guests who are heading out to the desert have everything they need before they leave. Usually we wrap up by six and head home.
