Running a hotel in Pitampura keeps us on our feet all day. Our building is at AP-53-E, and if you know this part of New Delhi, you know it gets pretty busy. We spend a lot of time checking people in and making sure the rooms are ready. It’s not always easy, especially when three families show up at once and the elevator is being slow. We’ve got a small team here who handles everything from the front desk to the laundry. Sometimes we’re short-staffed, so you might see the manager helping carry bags or checking the kitchen supplies. The lobby has those big windows where you can watch the cars go by on the main road. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s just us in the building making sure guests have a place to sleep. The rooms are basic but they do the job. We keep the hallways swept and try to make sure the water is hot in the mornings. Dealing with lost keys or helping people find directions is just part of the daily grind. It’s a lot of work to keep a place like this going 24 hours a day, but we’ve been at it for a good bit now. Most of the people who stay here are just passing through for work or visiting relatives nearby. We try to keep the noise down at night, but the street outside is always awake. It’s a simple living, but it’s ours. We aren't doing anything special, just providing a place to stay.
