Hotel Best Western The Emerald

Our hotel is located over at P-121/14 on Shekhawati Line. We are right near the Sadar area in Delhi Cant. It's a pretty busy part of the city with all the military stuff nearby. We've been running Hotel Best Western The Emerald for some time now. It’s a building that has seen a lot of people come and go. We have rooms for people traveling through New Delhi who just need a place to sleep and a hot shower. We keep the beds made and the floors swept. It's not a five-star palace, just a regular hotel where we try to be helpful. The staff here are local folks who know the area well. Sometimes the noise from the street gets in, but that’s just Delhi for you. We don't have a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We rent out rooms. We make sure the lights work. If something breaks, we try to fix it as fast as we can. It’s a lot of work keeping a hotel going 24 hours a day. We don't sleep much because there’s always someone checking in or out at odd hours. The location is good for people who have business in the Cantonment area. We get a mix of families and people here for work. It’s just a straightforward place to stay. Nothing more, nothing less. We just hope the water stays hot and the guests get some rest before their morning trains.
