Hotel Ashoka

Our hotel is at B-41 in South Ex-1, New Delhi. We aren't one of those massive, shiny places you see on the main roads. We are a smaller, local hotel that has been part of the South Extension neighborhood for a long time. The building is a bit older and has its quirks, like the occasional squeaky floorboard or a door that sticks, but we do our best to keep everything tidy. We mostly host people who are in town for shopping or work and just need a simple room to stay in. Our front desk is small, and we usually know all our guests by name after a day or two. It’s a busy area outside with the market so close by, so it’s a good spot if you want to be near the action. We don't have a big team of staff; it’s just a few of us who handle everything from checking people in to making sure there is fresh water in the rooms. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or plumbing issues because of how old the area is, but we always try to get things fixed as fast as possible. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just provide a bed and a roof for people who are passing through. It’s a family-run place and we take pride in being a reliable part of the local community.
