Hotel Alka New Delhi

This is Tanuj Bhatnagar’s place at Flat No 44 in the H Block of Sarita Vihar. It’s where we handle the side of things for Hotel Alka. Even though the hotel is a known name in New Delhi, this is just our administrative corner in a residential area. It’s a bit quieter here than the main hotel parts. We deal with the bookings and some of the management things from this flat. It’s basically just a home office vibe. You’ll see Sarita Vihar is a busy neighborhood but our block stays pretty calm most of the time. We have our desks set up and we just get through the emails and calls. Sometimes people get confused seeing a hotel name linked to a flat address, but that’s just how we have it set up for now. It’s a practical way to stay on top of the work without being in the middle of the hotel noise all day. We’ve been at this spot for a bit. It’s not a lobby or anything, just a room with some files and computers. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. If you’re around H block, you might pass by us. It’s just a standard apartment building really. We keep it low key and just focus on the daily tasks that keep the hotel business running from this side of town. It is simple work, and we just keep it going as best as we can every day.
