We are set up at DG-II/32 A in Vikas Puri. This part of New Delhi is where we handle the logistics and moving things around. It’s a lot of coordinating schedules and making sure drivers know where they are going. Our office is functional, mostly just desks and computers and a lot of thick logbooks. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People come in to drop off documents or check on a shipment. It’s a busy environment because things are always moving in and out. We deal with a lot of different routes all over India. The local area around 110018 is familiar to us. Sometimes the bad weather makes things difficult, but we just keep at it. It’s a lot of talking on the radio or the phone. We’ve got a small team here. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going during the long shifts. It’s not a glamorous business, just honest work making sure stuff gets from one point to another. We keep track of the trucks and the inventory as it comes. Most of us have been working here for a while now. We know the shortcuts and the common delays that happen on the road. If you come by the office, you’ll see we are just regular people trying to keep the supply chain moving without too much fuss or trouble. We stay until the last truck of the night is logged into the system.
