Holiday India

Holiday India is based at A-40 on the ground floor in Amritpuri. It is right in the East Of Kailash area of Delhi, so it stays pretty crowded around here. We have been in this same spot for a few years now. The office is basically just one large room where we sit and handle travel bookings for people. We don't have any fancy decorations, just some maps pinned to the walls and a lot of notebooks. People usually walk in because they saw our name while passing by on the street. We help them figure out where they can go for a few days off. We don't try to push anything on anyone, we just look at what's available on the computer and let them decide. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard, but that's just how life is in this part of Delhi. My cousin works here with me and we mostly just drink tea and wait for the phone to ring. It’s a relaxed kind of place. We aren't trying to become some giant travel empire. We just want to make enough to keep the lights on and help the locals get a decent price on their flights or hotels. It’s honest work and we’ve met a lot of nice people through the years.
