This location for Hindustan Unilever is a bit different because it is at the Single Officers Hostel in Dehradun. We are in Vigyan Vihar, specifically at number 15. This area is close to IRDE, which is a well-known spot in the city. Since it’s a hostel environment, the office setup is quite modest. It’s not like those big glass buildings you see in Mumbai or Bangalore. Dehradun is a lot calmer, and the air is better too. We handle some specific company tasks from this spot. It’s mostly just staff who are staying here or working on local assignments. The room is simple with just the basics—desks, chairs, and our computers. We get a lot of greenery around here, which is a nice change of pace. Sometimes it feels more like a home than an office. We follow a pretty set routine every day. It’s quiet for the most part, which helps with focusing on the paperwork and logistics we have to manage for Unilever. The Vigyan Vihar area is mostly residential and institutional, so you don’t get the crazy city noise. It’s just a small part of the bigger company, working out of a hostel building in the hills. We do our bit and keep things organized without any fuss. It's a steady place to work from while being surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of Dehradun. We don't have many visitors, but it's where our work gets done efficiently day after day.
