Our office is on the first floor of R-788 in New Rajinder Nagar. It’s a pretty central part of New Delhi, but our minds are usually somewhere in the mountains. We go by Himalayan Experiences Pvt. Ltd. The office isn't very large. We have maps pinned to the walls and some old trekking gear sitting in the corners. It’s a bit of a mess, to be honest, with brochures and itineraries piled up on the desks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to guides or people wanting to go on trips. Rajinder Nagar is a busy residential and commercial mix, so there is always something going on outside. The 110060 area is full of students and office workers, so it’s a lively place to be. We usually have the window open if the weather isn't too bad, though the Delhi dust can be a problem. We aren't a big corporate travel agency. We are just a few people who like the outdoors and ended up running this business. Most days involve a lot of logistics and trying to figure out the best routes for travelers. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the next season. It’s a simple setup, but it works for us. We’ve been at this R-788 address for a while now, and the neighbors are used to seeing people with big backpacks occasionally showing up at our door.
