Heritage India Adventures is a small team working out of an office in Mayur Vihar Phase III. Specifically, you can find us at 120 G, Pocket A 2. It is a busy part of Delhi, and there is always a lot of noise coming from the street outside our window. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at various maps of the country. We help people figure out where they want to go for their holidays and how to get there without too much trouble. Our office is not very polished; there are usually stacks of papers, old files, and a few empty chai cups sitting around on the desks. We have been doing this for a while now and know the local routes pretty well. We spend a lot of time dealing with logistics like booking cars or checking if a hotel is actually as good as it looks in pictures. Sometimes things go wrong, like a train being late or a road being closed, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing the schedule. We do not use any fancy language to describe what we do. It is just about making sure a trip goes okay from start to finish. We are just regular people who enjoy talking about travel and helping others see different parts of India. It is a lot of work, but we like the pace of it.
