Helpline Ltd.

Helpline Ltd. is based out of K-301 in the Palam Apartments over in Bijwasan. We’re in the 110061 area of New Delhi, and it’s a fairly residential spot. Working from an apartment building gives us a different feel than a big office block. We’re a small team, and we spend most of our time answering calls and trying to help people with their various issues. It can be a bit noisy in the office when everyone is on the phone at once, but we’ve gotten used to it. We aren't a giant call center with thousands of people. It’s just a handful of us sitting in a converted apartment space. The kitchen is usually full of half-empty tea cups, and there are files stacked on almost every flat surface. We don’t have a big corporate culture or anything like that. We just come in, put on our headsets, and do the work. Bijwasan is a bit out of the way for some, but it suits us just fine. Sometimes people have a hard time finding the right apartment number, but once they do, they find us just working away. We don’t use scripts or any of that fancy stuff. We just listen to what people need and see if we can sort it out for them. It’s practical, sometimes stressful, but it’s what we do every day from this little corner of Delhi. It's just us trying to be useful.
