Head Cashier

This is the spot for Head Cashier, located at E-92, Gali No.-1 in West Vinod Nagar. If you’re looking for us, you’ll have to find your way through the narrow lanes of Delhi-92. It’s a very local atmosphere here. We aren't some big bank or a fancy financial center. We just operate out of this space in Gali Number One. The street is always loud with bikes and people walking by, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle cash and accounts, keeping track of what comes in and what goes out. It’s mostly about being careful with the numbers and making sure the ledger matches up at the end of the day. We don't have a uniform or a lobby with a fountain. It’s a simple room with a solid desk and a safe. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, and we keep meaning to fix it. People from the neighborhood know where we are. We don't do much advertising because most folks just find us by word of mouth or by living nearby. It’s honest work that requires a lot of sitting and counting. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who stop by. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just do the job and go home when the work is finished for the day. It gets tiring but it is what it is.
