This HDFC spot is over at House No 272/3 in Majid Moth, which is right in South Extension 2. Being near Uday Park means there are always people moving around outside and plenty of noise. We work in a space that is mostly focused on the operational side of things. It is not always like the big glass branches you see on the main roads with huge signs. Here, it is more about the paperwork and the details that go on behind the scenes. We spend a lot of time processing forms and checking records to make sure everything is in order. The office can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of files delivered, but we manage by stacking them neatly. We have a routine where we start early to beat the worst of the South Ext traffic. The air conditioner hums all day, and there is always the sound of someone typing away or the photocopy machine running. We are not here to give sales pitches or talk about big dreams; we are here to handle the actual work of the bank. Sometimes the locals drop by with questions, and we do what we can to help them out. It is a very grounded place to work. We take our lunch breaks in turns so there is always someone at the desk. It is just a regular job in a busy part of New Delhi, making sure the financial bits are handled correctly.
