Hdfc Bank

This is our branch over in Vasant Vihar, at C6/2. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, and we have people coming in all day long. Even though it's a big name like Hdfc, this specific office feels more like a local spot for the people living in the colony nearby. We have the usual desks and chairs, and the air conditioning is always running because the Delhi heat is no joke. I’ve been working at this desk for quite some time now. We see the same faces every week, people coming in to deposit checks or ask about their accounts. It’s a lot of paperwork and looking at screens. Sometimes the line gets long and people get a bit frustrated, but we just try to get through it one by one. The area outside is quite nice with a lot of trees, which is a bit different from the more crowded parts of the city. We don't really have a philosophy or anything like that. We just come in at nine, open the doors, and start helping whoever is waiting. There’s always a bit of chatter among the staff about what we’re having for lunch or how the commute was that morning. It’s just a job like any other. We keep the floor clean and the pens tied to the counters so they don't go missing. It’s a steady rhythm that we follow every day, even when it gets hectic. We just do what's needed.
