Hdfc Bank

This is the Hdfc Bank branch over here in Pitampura, New Delhi. Our specific spot is at Sp 28, right in the heart of the area where things are always moving. It is not the biggest branch you will ever see, but we have been here for a good while. Every morning, we open up and there is usually someone already waiting by the door to ask about a passbook or a check that hasn't cleared yet. The neighborhood is 110088, and it is a pretty typical Delhi scene with cars honking and people rushing to work. Inside, it is just us staff members trying to keep up with the queues. We have the usual desks and computers, and the air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets so stuffy otherwise. We handle a lot of the local folks who live in the nearby flats. You get to know the regulars after a few months. Some people come in just to complain about the heat, and we just listen while we count out notes or fill out forms. It is just a practical place for people to handle their money matters without having to go all the way into the city center. We keep it simple here. There are no fancy decorations or anything. Just a bank branch where we do our jobs and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too bad. It is a lot of counting and checking, but it is honest work.
